Canada also boasts a robust eCommerce market. According to eMarketer, which
closely tracks eCommerce sales, Canada was expected to have $21.45 billion of sales
in eCommerce in 2012, and is projected to reach $34.78 billion by 2016.
Several Canadian provinces, including British Columbia and Quebec, have recognized
the potential that online gaming in Canada has and launched their own online gaming
sites. And Canada’s most populous province, Ontario, has discussed launching an
online gaming site this year.
